Maryland Heights Violin Store
As of Monday, August 3, our main Maplewood location is open – but is under construction (not everything is repaired from the water line break). Come to whichever store is more convienent for you.
Previously, our Maryland Heights Satellite location was within the Maryland Heights SaxQuest West store. However, at the end of October 2018 SaxQuest closed their West store and we remodeled the store to function as a Top Notch Violins location. Not only do we sell and rent instruments, but we also hope to eventually provide lessons for violin, viola, cello, and bass.
Our Maryland Heights location is located directly next door to Midwest Sheet Music. If you’re in the neighborhood we’d love to have you stop by and say “hi”!

We’re conveniently located about 3 miles south of I70 on 270.
From I-70
- From I-70, take the 270 South exit
- A few miles later take the Dorsett Road exit
- You’ll be turning left (to travel east) on Dorsett road and will cross over 270.
- Drive east on Dorsett about 4 blocks to Metro Blvd. Metro Blvd has a stop light, a UMB Bank on your right, and across the intersection on your left you can see the brick building we are located within.
- You have arrived!
From 364 or 340
- Travel on 364 or 340 to 270 and travel north on 270
- About 1 mile north of 364 is the Dorsett road exit. Exit Dorsett road to the right (traveling east).
- Drive east on Dorsett about 3 blocks to Metro Blvd. Metro Blvd has a stop light, a UMB Bank on your right, and across the intersection on your left you can see the brick building we are located within.
